As its name suggests, Destroyer is the lightest and affordable member of our naval themed lineup of PC’s. In its construction we used the newest components and the most respected brands on the market in an attempt to offer a solid system (like a rock) designed primarily to be stable, efficient but also beautiful, in line with the latest trends in the field .
Of course, because of its performance level and also naval theme the I5 12th gen processor of this PC is being cooled by one of the most advanced 240 mm Water Cooling AIO systems on the market in the Corsair Capellix range.Also from Corsair we sourced the case, a beautiful and roomy Corsair 4000D with ample room for components and wire-management, the high spec RAM, a lightning-fast 1 TB NVME SSD and the powerful PSU.
Together, these components work to ensure the stability, speed, cooling and aesthetics of a very special and customizable Corsair based – iCue ready PC.
In it you will find the quality, stability, performance and reliable help you need every day whether you just surf the net, watch a movie, but especially if you play, stream or even edit photos or videos.
The platform
A motherboard with the latest Intel Z690 chipset is the only real solution for such a beauty and the DDR4 support enables you to get plenty and fast RAM without breaking the budget as we all know, at least for the moment, DDR5 is pretty rare and very expensive. Also, the plethora of SATA, M.2, USB and many other ports are just what you need in this digital age.
The CPU
10 cores and 16 threads is all you need to play without worries, to edit even the biggest photos and even to edit 4K videos ready to share online. Steaming doesn’t pose a real problem either, so the I5 2600 is the perfect processor for this well-rounded system.
The GPU
The NVIDIA GeForce 3060 is a main-stream power-house! Frugal on power and big on visual-might, our choice of GPU is a match made-in-heaven for the Intel CPU, a perfect team in both gaming and streaming/editing.
The Memory
16 GB of DDR4 is a must as an entry-point for any demanding game or app. 3200 MHz working in dual-channel configuration, the Corsair sticks offers great reliability without compromising on performance.
The case
For this system we use an ATX case from Corsair, model 4000D, well known among gamers and passionate users for its qualities related to aesthetics and performance. Needless to say, this is definitely one of the best.
The Storage
For most M.2 SSD models on the market, adequate cooling is required to keep the speeds as high as possible. On the Corsair SSD used by us in the Destroyer PC the cooling is integrated so the maximum speed is guaranteed all the time. We thought about performance and cooling so that you don’t have to do it..
