The platform
We chose an AM4 B550 motherboard for its great feature-set and value. Gigabit LAN, 5.1 surround sound and USB 3.1, while industry standards at this point, cover most of what any gamer or professional would require from a feature perspective.
The CPU
AMD’s Ryzen 5500 is an award winning CPU – we wouldn’t use any other for a perfectly-rounded build. The 6-core 4.2 GHz CPU complex, coupled with 32 MB of L3 cache offer ample performance for any task you can throw at it.
The GPU
The NVIDIA GeForce 3060 is a main-stream power-house! Frugal on power and big on visual-might, our choice of GPU is a match made-in-heaven for the Ryzen CPU, a perfect team in both gaming and streaming/editing.
The Memory
16 GB of DDR4 is a must as an entry-point for any demanding game or app. 3600 MHz working in dual-channel configuration, the Corsair sticks offers great reliability without compromising on performance.
The case
We use an ATX-sized enclosure which offers exeptional airflow, keeping the CPU and GPU in check regarding the temperature, providing prolonged boost-clocks. And the unassuming and minimalistic design coupled with the inspiring visuals of the RGB fans will set the mood for whatever activity you might get yourself into.
The Storage
We provide a 1 TB SSD. Flash storage is a no-brainer in today’s environment, providing lighningly-fast load times and near-instant OS response, whatever the task.
